Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlan Delespinasse is a seasoned contractor and consultant with 11+ years building full-stack web and multimedia applications, from startups to Google-scale projects. He combines hands-on coding (JavaScript/React, Python, C++, Web Audio/WebGL) with architecture, tech leadership, and mentorship—able to lead small teams or deliver an app end-to-end. His experience spans product-facing creative tools, real-time collaboration features, and ML/NLP infrastructure, including work on YouTube’s online video editor and proprietary Bayesian tooling at Gamalon. Based in Boston, he prefers short-term or part-time contracts and often helps teams improve release processes, code quality, and hiring for their first engineers. Less expected: he pairs software work with creative pursuits—having founded a game studio, done freelance cello gigs, and even makes documentary films—bringing an unusually creative, multimedia perspective to engineering problems.
