Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlan Sherry is a seasoned Drupal developer with over a decade of experience leading large-scale projects from client onboarding through launch, currently contributing at Bitsight from France. He blends pragmatic engineering with an openness to each project's unique needs, emphasizing shared migration patterns, APIs, and reusable deployment practices while treating every implementation as its own challenge. As a former Director of Development and long-time tech lead, he pairs full-stack architecture and hands-on coding with mentoring, code reviews, and collaborative standards-setting. Passionate about extensibility and empowering non-profits, he focuses on building tooling that helps teams succeed—and learn from well-managed failure. Unusually for an engineer, his background in jazz performance informs a collaborative, improvisational approach to problem-solving and team dynamics.
