Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlan Wei is a product and engineering leader with 11 years of experience building data-driven frontend and cloud platforms across B2C and B2B at scale, currently leading Global CRM Platform product at ByteDance. He has a track record of launching commercialization and data platforms—running cross-functional teams and global 24/7 support for enterprise clients—after scaling teams and products across Lazada, ShopBack, Alibaba, and BytePlus. Technically fluent from frontend performance optimizations to data platform architecture, he has driven measurable outcomes like major page-load improvements and infrastructure cost reductions. Comfortable balancing hands-on technical direction with product strategy, he often combines deep engineering ownership (e.g., building reusable UI systems and data services frameworks) with operational rigor for global rollouts. A background spanning New Zealand, Singapore, and China informs his ability to lead distributed teams across multiple regions and business models.
