Top SchoolAlasdair Monk is a product and software designer with 14 years of experience crafting developer-facing tools and polished user experiences, blending design craft, storytelling and hands-on programming. He’s shipped work at scale as Head of Design at GoCardless and Principal Designer at HashiCorp, and now advises and invests in startups like incident.io and Bricklane. Comfortable at both the macro and micro levels, he prototypes ambitious new features and architects product visions, often starting projects from scratch in ambiguous, technical domains. Driven by a mission to make computers more approachable for makers, he focuses on turning technical complexity into creative enablers rather than obstacles. An early web developer with a First in Applied IT from the University of Reading, he brings rare cross-disciplinary fluency that helps bridge product, design and engineering.
