Top SchoolAlastair Paterson is a Senior Platform Engineer based in Melbourne with 11 years of hands-on experience building cloud-native infrastructure and platform tooling for major Australian enterprises. He combines a Master of Engineering in Software with practical expertise modernising legacy systems into containerised, microservice architectures and rolling out Kubernetes, Helm and CI/CD improvements. His recent roles at ANZ and Commonwealth Bank reflect a focus on secure, auditable platform services for large-scale retail and financial environments. Known for pragmatic delivery, he has led migrations away from DC/OS/Mesos and rebuilt artefact and CI ecosystems to reduce operational friction. Comfortable working across development and platform teams, he brings both engineering depth and commercial awareness from earlier commerce and analytics roles.
