Top SchoolAlbert Felix is an Associate Software Engineer with eight years of experience building scalable web and mobile features across major tech companies including NBCUniversal, Twitter, and Google. He has shipped backend and front-end solutions in Scala, Java, Swift, and modern web stacks—improving ad analytics, increasing system fault tolerance, and migrating native iOS views to replace web pages. A first-generation Dominican immigrant and Macaulay Honors College alum, he combines technical craft with a commitment to social justice, mentoring students and advocating for greater Latinx representation in tech. He’s comfortable in distributed systems and data-heavy pipelines, and has a track record of translating product needs into measurable improvements (e.g., reduced requests and engagement-issue rates). Outside engineering he practices landscape photography and tutors non-English-speaking immigrant students, reflecting a blend of technical focus and community-driven impact.
