Top SchoolAlbert Gierlach is a software engineer based in Krakow with eight years of hands-on experience and a focus on systems-level programming in C++, C, Python, and Java. Currently at Akamai Technologies after progressing from an intern role there, he brings practical production experience in a large-scale networking environment. A committed problem-solver and active CTF competitor (github handle justcatthefish), he applies security-minded thinking and algorithmic rigor to both hobby projects and professional work. He prefers structured workflows—keeping productivity with to-do lists—and spends spare time building devices and solving complex challenges that sharpen his low-level and reverse-engineering skills. Open to new challenges, he is seeking opportunities to deepen his career as a C/C++/Python developer while continuing to bridge practical engineering with security-oriented thinking.
