Top SchoolAlbert Massey is a software engineer based in Seattle with 12 years of professional experience and a strong focus on backend development for cloud-native, large-scale distributed systems. He has recent hands-on experience evaluating and benchmarking LLMs at Meta—building Python tooling and metrics for models like Llama3—and now contributes to production engineering at impact.com. His background spans secure microservices and authentication systems (Spring Boot, OIDC/OAuth2, JWT) used in consumer integrations with Amazon and PayPal, including passwordless flows. Albert combines practical backend architecture with automation for model evaluation and data pipelines, making him effective at bridging ML evaluation and production services. He holds a Full Stack Web Development certification from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, reflecting both formal training and broad engineering depth. A detail that sets him apart is his track record of shipping domain-specific tooling—15+ benchmarks and evaluation scripts—that turn complex model behavior into actionable metrics.
