Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAlbert Örwall is a seasoned founding engineer and architect with 14 years of experience building scalable, distributed systems and enterprise integrations, most recently leading platform architecture for Sweden’s healthcare sector. He helped design and scale a core eHealth platform adopted by 19 of 21 Swedish healthcare regions, combining JVM-based microservices, container orchestration, and polyglot datastores to meet interoperability standards like RIVTA, SKLTP, HL7 and FHIR. A pragmatic generalist, he moves between hands-on development and high-level architecture, with deep familiarity in Spring Boot, Akka, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS and data stores such as Cassandra and MongoDB. Currently bridging startups and research—co-founding an AI-powered AML startup while working on SWE-bench at Princeton—he balances product-driven engineering with academic-caliber rigor. Colleague-driven and adaptable, he’s comfortable jumping into new domains and shaping pragmatic technical roadmaps that align with regulatory and operational constraints.
