Top SchoolAlberto Forni is a Senior Software Developer based in Bologna with 11 years of experience building user-facing web applications and a strong focus on interactive, user-friendly editors. After a career start as a Chartered Accountant, he retrained in web development (General Assembly WDI) and transitioned into frontend engineering roles at SafetyCulture, ThoughtWorks, Tes and now Balsamiq, where he’s spent over six years on the editor team. He brings a rare blend of product-minded UI engineering and business/financial acumen, enabling pragmatic trade-offs between usability, scalability and customer value. Skilled in Ember.js, modular CSS, single-page architectures and front-end migrations, he’s also mentored juniors and influenced cross-functional decisions including deployment and API design. Always curious, he leverages his auditing and process-driven background to produce reliable, well-tested interfaces that prioritize real customer feedback.
