Top SchoolAlberto Gimeno is a versatile mobile engineer with 17 years of experience building developer tools, cloud services, and client-facing apps across backend, frontend and mobile platforms. He’s language-agnostic—comfortable in Ruby, Go, TypeScript, Swift/Objective-C, Python and more—and quickly adopts the best tool for the job, having picked up Ruby at GitHub and made it his primary language within months. Alberto has shipped high-scale features like UI virtualization for rendering tens of thousands of log lines, PostGIS-backed browser visualizations, and data model migrations affecting billions of records without downtime. He contributes to notable open-source projects (e.g., Probot) and has expanded internationalization in libraries such as chrono by adding Spanish parsers. Based in Zaragoza, Spain, he combines deep technical breadth with a practical focus on solving real user problems and mentoring teams to elevate their output.
