Top SchoolAlberto Serra is a Senior Software Developer with 12 years of experience building production-ready web backends, IoT systems and mobile apps, currently contributing at Spindox. He moves easily between TypeScript/Node.js, .NET/C#, Objective‑C, C++ and Python, and pairs pragmatic engineering with research-led design from his decade-plus work on EU-funded Smart Cities and IoT projects. A backend specialist comfortable with MongoDB, RESTful APIs, containerized deployments and Arduino/Raspberry Pi architectures, he has also taught IoT platforms and presented co-authored scientific papers at international conferences. At Covisian and CRS4 he delivered contact-center and smart-city solutions, blending field sensor integration with scalable web services. Based in Cagliari, he combines developer versatility with an academic mindset—an engineer who treats production systems as continual experiments.
