Top SchoolAlberto Silva is a Lead Software Developer with 11 years of experience building resilient, high-throughput systems and guiding teams toward engineering excellence. Currently at adidas he rebuilt checkout backends across a microservices ecosystem using Node.js, TypeScript, fp-ts/io-ts and Kubernetes while wearing roles from hands-on developer to acting architect. He’s driven by pragmatic engineering practices—TDD, DDD, immutability and integration testing—and has a track record of lifting system reliability (e.g., moving data pipelines toward six nines at Socialbakers) and improving CI/CD and observability. A natural mentor and educator shaped by the Scout Movement, he invests in team growth as much as technical design. Outside work he’s a juggler, scuba diver and sailor, reflecting a love of discipline and calm under pressure that carries into on-call and production incidents. Based in Tarragona, Spain, he blends practical architecture with deep Node/TypeScript expertise to deliver measurable business outcomes.
