Top SchoolAlberto Ursua is a technical manager and software architect with 14 years of experience building high-performance data collection and edge-computing systems from Zaragoza, Spain. He combines hands-on development in Java, Python and C with systems-level expertise in Linux, network and industrial protocols, having implemented deep-packet inspection and custom connectors for challenging legacy and proprietary systems. At Datumize he led architecture, devops and R&D for the Datumize Data Collector, including reverse-engineering undocumented protocols and modernizing a LonTalk Linux driver—work that shows uncommon low-level troubleshooting skills. Now leading technical efforts at Galeo, he focuses on maintaining technical excellence across teams while still diving into backend, cloud and edge engineering. A long-time open-source and *NIX enthusiast, Alberto brings a pragmatic blend of research-driven problem solving and production-grade delivery.
