Alberto Wagner is a data scientist based in Santiago with 11 years of multidisciplinary experience combining sociological research, sports analytics, and applied data work. Trained in Sociology at Universidad de Chile and diplomado in Sports Management (FIFA/CIES), he blends qualitative methods (interviews, Atlas.ti) with quantitative analysis in R, SPSS and Python to inform programs in sport, education and social organizations. He has worked as a league statistician for Chile's top PES eSports competition, supported baseline and needs-assessment studies for CSD Colo-Colo, and contributed analytics and reporting across NGOs and universities. Currently at NoiseGrasp, he applies this mixed-methods background to data science problems, bringing both field research sensibilities and technical rigor. Notably, his undergraduate thesis on premature athletic retirement gives him an uncommon empathy for athlete transitions that informs his approach to sport-related data projects.
