Top SchoolAlchan Kim is a graduate student in Computer Science & Engineering at Seoul National University with 13 years of professional experience spanning web development and production software engineering. He has built web applications and databases using Python, Ruby, JavaScript and C++, and worked at companies including Dunamu/Upbit and Move before returning to academia. His current research blends algorithmic improvement and parallelization—aiming to make an existing algorithm 40× faster—reflecting a rare mix of systems-level optimization and applied web/devops experience. Comfortable across the stack, he is particularly interested in computer systems and MLOps, and brings practical production insight to research problems. An understated strength is his history of long-term full-time industry work while still an undergraduate, which informs pragmatic, deployable solutions.
