Summary
👤
SeniorAlec Raeside is a Senior Frontend Engineer with 14–15 years of experience specialising in scalable frontend architectures and modern React ecosystems, particularly Next.js (App Router, RSC) and TypeScript. He excels at modernising legacy platforms, shipping fast, accessible products, and integrating AI-assisted workflows to boost team velocity and product capability. Alec has led rebuilds and greenfield projects across industries—from transport and logistics to travel and e-commerce—delivering performant sites, WCAG-compliant interfaces, and tailored search and content experiences. He pairs pragmatic engineering with mentorship and code quality advocacy, often taking ownership of end-to-end platform evolution and developer onboarding. Based in Gosford, Australia, he combines startup grit (founding Aero’s frontend and running a solo web business early in his career) with enterprise-grade delivery for organisations like Transport for NSW and Westfield.
