Top SchoolAlec Stewart is a senior systems engineer and founder with over two decades of hands-on experience designing and manufacturing precision mechatronic products, now applying that expertise at Vantage Robotics. As Founder, CEO & CTO of Velocitek he led cross-disciplinary teams to deliver award-winning sailing instruments and an RTK GPS race management system, drove in-sourcing and lights-out automation, and shepherded products from prototype to thousands of units sold. He combines deep mechanical and controls engineering (MS degrees from Stanford) with software, RF, and production automation skills—famously developing a robot-driven magnetometer/IMU calibration technique and SMT microfactory processes. Alec pairs entrepreneurial grit (built a global business from under $15k) with a talent for building durable team cultures and long-term supply-chain partnerships, including decade-plus relationships in Shenzhen.
