Summary
🤩
RockstarAled Samuel is an experienced iOS developer with 11 years building high-quality mobile products across healthtech, sports, aviation, and fintech, currently developing at Global Relay. He has led mobile teams and managed app lifecycles—from sole developer launches of popular Welsh-language educational apps to managing NHS and consumer wellbeing apps as Mobile Development Manager. Comfortable with modern iOS architectures (TCA, async/await), cross-platform oversight, and release operations, he pairs hands-on coding with documentation and QA processes. Aled is active in the Apple community as a longtime NSLondon co-organiser and public speaker, bringing event production, video editing and design skills to technical outreach. Equally at home owning KYC domains in regulated fintech and delivering mission-critical flight software, he aims to transition into engineering management while keeping a strong developer-first mindset.
