Top SchoolAlejandro Aspinwall is a Senior Software Engineer with 7 years of full-stack experience, currently shaping frontend architecture at Mozilla after leading large-scale micro-frontend initiatives at Amazon that supported over a million daily users. He blends strong frontend expertise in TypeScript, React and Redux with backend skills in Go, Java, Kotlin and serverless AWS, and has a track record of cutting build times and development cycles through pragmatic engineering and template-driven standards. Alejandro pairs product-minded engineering with stakeholder collaboration, having redesigned monoliths into modular micro-frontends, implemented operational triage systems, and driven accessibility improvements at scale. His background in immersive audio, game and film production and PhD research in binaural technologies gives him a unique perspective on realtime systems, multimedia pipelines and human-centered experiences. Outside of work he composes music and experiments with hands-on projects like artisanal pizza, reflecting a maker’s mindset that surfaces in his engineering leadership.
