Top SchoolAlejandro Cuetos is a seasoned engineering leader with 12 years of experience building and scaling mobile-first teams and platforms, currently serving as Head of Technology at comparethemarket.com. He blends hands-on mobile engineering (iOS/Android) with strategic leadership, having authored the company's Mobile Strategy and led a distributed mobile organisation of 25–30+ engineers to deliver measurable growth and complex features like Open Banking and insurance integrations. As a founder of Filtercode Ltd and early technical hire on multiple startups, he brings entrepreneurial instincts and a track record of turning prototypes into production products across fintech, media, and consumer apps. Comfortable switching between code and C-suite conversations, he’s credited with doubling app usage through product-led initiatives and introducing scalable mobile architectures and upskilling programmes that reduce overhead and increase delivery predictability. Based in the UK, he combines deep mobile technical breadth (including WebRTC, C++, Swift, Go) with pragmatic delivery discipline and a curiosity for new tech demonstrated by continuous learning across CS and game/graphics courses.
