Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlejandro Guerrieri is a seasoned software engineering leader with over a decade of experience building cloud-native, mobile and enterprise platforms, currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at Cisco. He has moved up from hands-on roles — from systems administration and SMS gateways to architecture and VP-level engineering leadership — and consistently drives operational improvements like 90% fewer CI errors and major cloud migrations. Alejandro pairs technical judgment with business-driven technology selection, favoring durable solutions over transient trends, and has led cross-functional, geographically distributed teams across the Americas, Europe and beyond. His background as an entrepreneur and founder of multiple startups gives him a pragmatic, product-oriented view of engineering and M&A integration experience. Adaptable across cultures and time zones, he is as comfortable mentoring managers as he is designing resilient systems for high-scale customer interactions. An unexpected facet: before tech he built a music-production career, producing award-winning records, which shaped his creative leadership and collaborative instincts.
