Top SchoolAlejandro Mallea is a pragmatic software engineer with 14 years of experience building production-quality systems across geometric algorithms, consumer apps, and cloud services. He rose from unfinished university studies to R&D engineering at Synopsys—implementing C++ geometry for industry-leading mask data preparation—and later held roles at Amazon and Evernote before joining Dakota Software. A self-taught problem solver and perfectionist, he bridges research rigor (co-authored an ISWC paper early in his career) with hands-on product delivery. Based in Olympia/Seattle, he pairs deep algorithmic thinking with practical software craftsmanship and spends off-hours as an amateur musician, reflecting a creative approach to technical challenges.
