Top SchoolAlejandro Mezcua is a seasoned mobile and web software engineer with 13 years of experience, currently owning and consulting through 128 Characters Software from Madrid. He has led Android teams and shipped platform SDKs across languages (Java, Kotlin, Rust, Swift, TypeScript) for companies including BeReal, Proton, Proxy and Xapo, blending hands-on engineering with architecture and product-focused leadership. As a serial founder and early technical lead, he’s built end-to-end platforms, driving system design, APIs and client SDKs that scale across devices. Alejandro pairs practical engineering with an independent streak—he’s an avid scuba diver and craft beer maker—bringing curiosity and craft to both code and hobbies. With a background in physics (UAM) and a long freelance history, he’s comfortable translating complex requirements into robust mobile-first solutions.
