Top SchoolAlejandro Sanchez is a Site Reliability Engineer with nine years of experience building and operating resilient cloud-native systems for large enterprises, currently at Apple after recent SRE/DevOps roles at Mastercard and Telefónica. He blends a strong academic foundation in electrical engineering and industrial & operations research (UC Berkeley MEng, UPM MS) with hands-on DevOps, automation, and reliability practices across telecommunication and fintech environments. Alejandro has a track record of helping establish R&D capabilities early in his career, selecting technologies, defining metrics, and coordinating engineering deliveries. He is passionate about data, machine learning, and AI, and applies that mindset to optimize observability, incident response, and production ML operationalization. Comfortable across J2EE-era stacks and modern cloud tooling, he bridges legacy systems and scalable infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers. Based in London, he looks for opportunities to combine SRE rigor with data-driven ML/AI projects.
