Top SchoolAlejandro Troccoli is a seasoned software engineering manager based in California with 11 years of industry experience and a deep background spanning computer vision, applied machine learning, and system software for desktop and mobile platforms. He currently leads imaging and prototyping efforts at Google after directing teams at NVIDIA that shipped AI-driven background segmentation and a portable computer vision library used across product verticals. His career blends hands-on research (PhD-level work in 3D scene reconstruction and perception) with product delivery, from GPU driver development and Optimus leadership to ML model transfer into production. Known for bridging research and engineering, he builds infrastructure that accelerates technology transfer and consistently moves prototypes into shipping features. An understated strength is his cross-domain fluency—graphics, computational photography, and perception—which enables pragmatic solutions across mobile, VR/AR, and applied ML systems.
