Senior🎓
Top SchoolAleksander Kwiatkowski is a pragmatic back-end developer with about 15 years of production experience, specializing in Ruby/Rails, PostgreSQL, APIs and background processing (Sidekiq). He has a strong track record of performance tuning—fixing timeouts, reducing memory use and delivering 10–20x speedups for report generation—and migrating brittle JSONB “virtual models” into robust AR models. Comfortable across microservices, gRPC and high-test-coverage codebases, Aleksander also enjoys working with compiled languages (Crystal, Go, Rust, C++) and has been a GNU/Linux power user for two decades. He has held senior and lead roles at companies across Europe and brings practical experience from building high-traffic systems to adding operational reliability. Off the clock he pursues landscape photography, a hobby that complements his attention to detail and observant approach to problem solving.
