Top SchoolAleksandr Baryshnikov is a Senior Engineering Manager based in Singapore with 12 years of experience building high-availability, enterprise-scale systems across AI, API management, and distributed platforms. At Workato he has driven the architecture and delivery of core AI infrastructure—authoring an AI Gateway, BYOLLM integrations, and a production-ready MCP server platform—while embedding reliability, observability, and runtime configurability into products. He rose through engineering and technical lead roles after designing low-latency trading and messaging systems earlier in his career, giving him deep operational and performance-first instincts. Aleksandr is known for translating research-grade ideas (search/retrieval and agent behaviors) into pragmatic, deployable solutions and for mentoring teams to own complex platform concerns. His background in applied mathematics and experience across finance, blockchain, and enterprise integrations underpin a methodical approach to system design and risk-aware innovation.
