Top SchoolAleksandr Dikarev is a co-founder and R&D director with over a decade of hands-on experience designing and shipping embedded underwater acoustic communication, positioning, and navigation systems. He combines theoretical hydroacoustics and DSP expertise with firmware and host-software development, leading products from math models to full-scale sea trials (notably the RedWAVE LBL system and Zima USBL). With US and EU patents, academic publications and a background in missile and spacecraft engineering, he brings rigorous modeling and systems thinking to real-world underwater problems. Based in Helsinki, he architects resilient comms for both human divers and autonomous swarms, and is known for turning complex acoustic theory into practical, documented devices and firmware. An uncommon strength is his end-to-end ownership—from signal-level algorithms and RAKE receivers to product documentation and multiuser system integration.
