Top SchoolAleksandr Slobodeniuk is a Senior Software Engineer with eight years' experience specializing in C/C++ development for audio/video systems, currently working at Fluendo and leading engineering at Bram Technologies. He is a practical expert in GStreamer and FFmpeg—having contributed to those projects as well as openh264 and libbmx—and routinely works across Linux, Windows, Android and occasionally macOS. His domain experience covers streaming and media standards (HBBTV, DASH, RTSP, MP4/MXF, H.264/H.265), DRM/content protection, hardware acceleration (VAAPI/VDPAU) and audio formats including AAC and EAC3. Aleksandr emphasizes design rigor, automated testing, and working directly with library source code and standards (RFC/IEEE), and he often builds custom debugging and test tools to solve thorny integration problems. With a background in audio‑visual technique and experience delivering embedded and broadcast systems, he pairs low-level performance engineering with clear technical writing and internal/external training. An understated strength is his math/algorithm background that informs robust media processing and codec work.
