Top SchoolAleksandr Zubarev is a senior software engineer with 13 years of experience, the last four focused on building high-throughput services in Go alongside a strong PHP background. He specializes in DDD, microservices and modular monoliths, turning data-intensive problems into simple, reliable code and designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems. At VItech he architected and rebuilt a feed microservice that shrank generation time from 2 hours to 1 minute and removed 100k lines of site code, and he runs a reviews service handling millions of records. Previously he built OTA tooling for SIM cards at Drimsim to enable a provider switch without disrupting a million users, and scaled transactional systems and email infrastructure at consumer-facing commerce platforms. Based in Lisbon and open to remote roles, he prefers growing teams building exciting products. A pragmatic systems thinker, he often reduces operational surface area by extracting focused services that replace fragile monolith logic.
