Top SchoolAleksei Borodin is an experienced IT consultant and serial tech founder with 16 years delivering system administration, security consulting, and backend engineering across startups and SMEs. He currently leads technology and consulting efforts from Tallinn as CTO of easyref and founder/CEO of AYSA OÜ, blending hands-on ops work with strategic product delivery. His background includes multiple CTO and CEO roles where he managed projects and maintained complex IT infrastructure, and he contributes practical improvements to open-source projects like VESTA by localizing interfaces and fixing DNS-related bugs. Comfortable operating remotely, he favors pragmatic risk-taking—“the results worth the risks”—and applies that mindset to both engineering trade-offs and business initiatives. Trained at Bauman Moscow State Technical University, he pairs technical depth with entrepreneurial drive and a long-standing personal project archive available since 2009.
