Tel-Aviv District, Israel
Summary
👤
SeniorAleksei Chernov is a hands-on engineering leader and Platform Tech Lead with 15+ years in web development and over 7 years focused on platform initiatives that boost delivery speed and system reliability. He combines full-stack expertise (React, Node.js, TypeScript, Kubernetes) with pragmatic platform work—monorepos, CI/CD quality gates, observability, and microservices boundaries—to cut errors and incidents dramatically while improving developer velocity. At Riverside.fm he drove a 95% reduction in backend errors and a 75% drop in production incidents by introducing RUM, distributed tracing, and cross-team dashboards that shifted detection from users to proactive alerts. He has a proven track record scaling teams and systems across companies from startups to enterprise (Veeam, Radware), including hiring and onboarding programs, frontend radars, and reusable component libraries. Aleksei pairs technical depth with knowledge-sharing—running workshops and building tooling like an MCP server and Chrome extension—to empower product teams to own quality. Based in Tel Aviv, he’s a pragmatic bridge between product needs and engineering foundations, obsessed with observability and measurable operational improvements.
