Senior🎓
Top SchoolAleksei Karnov is a pragmatic, language-agnostic software engineer with 10 years of experience building backend systems and cloud-native architectures. He currently contributes to Verse and Views after leading backend delivery for Delivery Club at Mail.ru Group, bringing proven experience with distributed, fully remote teams. Deeply fluent in Go, he also has hands-on history with Python, Ruby, OCaml, PHP and modern microservices patterns including event-sourcing, Kubernetes, GKE/AWS and serverless workflows. His background spans product startups and contractor roles where he designed infrastructure, analytics and billing systems, and implemented high-throughput scrapers and streaming platforms. Comfortable moving between architecture and hands-on coding, he favors practical, production-ready solutions over language dogma. Based in Oryol, Russia, he pairs engineering breadth with a focus on reliable delivery in distributed environments.
