Senior🎓
Top SchoolAleksey Ostapenko is an experienced iOS engineer with a decade of mobile development expertise and deep Swift knowledge, currently shaping core client features at AVITO.ru. He has a strong track record of improving performance and architecture—halving module compile times, boosting UI frame rates by 60%, and converting a monolith into multiple modules to cut code and memory usage. Aleksey combines product-focused development (building a unified ad component that grew revenue and redesigning filters that raised usage in A/B tests) with hands-on mentorship and hiring, having interviewed over 100 candidates and led workshops. He is comfortable across legacy and greenfield projects, from reverse-engineering APIs and launching macOS/iOS apps to designing asynchronous layouts and benchmarking synchronization strategies. Based in Moscow, he brings both pragmatic engineering instincts and measurable impact on metrics that matter: speed, memory, and user engagement.
