Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAlessandro Gallotta is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience building distributed systems, backend APIs, and cloud-native tooling across companies like Datadog, Chime, Salesforce, and Sysdig. He blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership—having served as both individual contributor and engineering manager—focused on observability, scalable services, and container ecosystems. Early work spans embedded and networked systems (FPGA, microcontrollers, VoIP) and research-grade automation for RTP/PESQ testing, giving him a strong foundation in low-level protocols and measurement. He has spoken at major conferences (MesosCon, ContainerCon Europe), signaling deep involvement in the container/observability community beyond product work. A top-graduated computer engineer with Erasmus study in interactive software and information security, he pairs academic rigor with pragmatic shipping experience. Colleagues would note his ability to translate complex, protocol-level problems into reliable, production-grade services.
