Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlessandro Morgantini is a senior software engineer with two decades of experience specializing in realtime and embedded systems, system programming, and industrial automation across Linux and Windows platforms. Holding a master's in computer engineering from the University of Florence, he has delivered control algorithms and system-level software at Heidenhain and currently contributes to advanced microwave engineering solutions at AME. Comfortable from low-level kernel-adjacent work to user interfaces and networked systems, he blends rigorous engineering with a humanities background that sharpens his problem framing and communication. Colleagues value his steady, pragmatic approach to complex, safety- and performance-sensitive domains. Outside of work he maintains hands-on curiosity—tinkering with vintage computers and playing text adventures—which feeds a practical appreciation for resilient, resource-constrained software.
