Top SchoolAlessandro Sclafani is a Senior Software Engineer based in Ghent with eight years of hands-on experience building Python-driven applications and web software. He progressed from internships and academic research on network algorithms to professional roles delivering production systems using Python, Qt, Docker, complex SQL, and Linux tooling. Recent consultancy at the European Investment Bank and a Software Engineer role at Deliverect reflect a track record of trusted, enterprise-facing development. Trained at the University of Parma and largely self-taught since childhood, he pairs formal engineering education with a decade-plus of independent exploration across programming, electronics, maths and physics. Comfortable across frontend and backend concerns, he brings a pragmatic blend of research curiosity and production discipline. An Italian developer living in Belgium, he often bridges scientific thinking with practical software delivery in regulated, data-sensitive environments.
