Summary
👤
SeniorAlessandro Vecchi is a Chief Product Officer and software leader with 10+ years building mission-critical systems for stratospheric and aviation applications. He has progressed from full‑stack and front‑end engineering roles to leading software and product at startups like Urban Sky and now heads product at Sorcerer, which operates a 10,000+ persistent weather balloon constellation and an AI forecasting model. Known for shipping high‑stakes mission control software—praised by the Secretary of Defense—he blends hands‑on engineering with product strategy to turn complex flight and telemetry data into reliable forecasts. Based in San Francisco with a foundation in computer engineering, he favors pragmatic, elegant code (and cheekily believes "else" is a useless keyword), bringing both operational rigor and inventive problem solving to atmospheric tech.
