Top SchoolAlex Anwyl-irvine is a Senior Research Scientist and behavioural scientist with 11 years of experience applying software development to cognitive neuroscience and human behaviour research. He builds data-driven models of behaviour and brain activity and designs online platforms and UI for large-scale data acquisition, often integrating bio-sensor streams. Technically fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Unity and R, he has moved between academic neuroimaging (PhD-level work at Cambridge) and industry R&D, including cognitive assessment app design and child brain imaging at Cambridge Cognition. His recent roles span behavioural data science in finance to AI safety research on chemical/biological risk, showing a rare combination of domain breadth and practical systems delivery. Colleagues rely on him for translating complex experimental protocols into robust, user-facing tools that scale beyond the lab.
