Top SchoolAlex Autem is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience specializing in full-stack JavaScript, currently building solutions at MJH Life Sciences in Kansas City. Comfortable across React, Angular.js, Node/Express, and mobile frameworks like React Native, he pairs front-end polish with solid back-end and database expertise (Postgres, Mongo, MySQL). He has led front-end efforts and shipped product features at startups and scale-focused teams such as Companion Protect and Freightview, bringing both hands-on coding and product-minded collaboration. Trained at Hack Reactor and with a BA in Broadcasting and Interactive Digital Media, he brings a creative background in video production to UX and storytelling through interfaces. Alex is pragmatic about toolchains—Webpack, Heroku, testing with Mocha/Chai—and favors shipping maintainable code over clever shortcuts. Colleagues value his mix of creativity, consistency, and the ability to translate visual ideas into robust, user-facing applications.
