Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlex B is a Vice President of Engineering with 13+ years building and operating high-availability web systems, specializing in DevOps, system and database schema design, and product-driven architecture. He leads end-to-end development for enterprise SaaS—bringing products like Adept Scale (predictive autoscaling for Heroku) and Elegant CMS (a headless CMS available on Heroku and Manifold) from market research and pricing through architecture, launch, and ongoing operations. Comfortable translating financial constraints into technical tradeoffs, he oversees cross-functional teams, vendors, and mobile partners while still contributing hands-on to code and deployments. Based in Boulder, he pairs embedded and Rails-era roots with modern distributed systems practice, and outside work races competitively as a representative driver for his company. His blend of CEO-level product ownership and day-to-day engineering makes him equally effective sketching strategy or debugging production issues.
