Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlex Cyphus is a senior software engineer with eight years of experience blending product, data, and entrepreneurial instincts across startups in Europe and North America. With a background in finance and economics from UBC and an exchange at Esade, he pairs quantitative decision-making with hands-on engineering in Python, SQL, AWS, and scalable product systems. He has co-founded a startup, led product at Tandem, and delivered engineering work at Lhotse, Throne, and now Clozemaster, showing a track record of shipping growth-oriented features and data-driven product improvements. Comfortable working across remote, multilingual teams (Spanish speaker based in Barcelona), he often straddles the line between analytics and product strategy to prioritize impact. Colleagues describe him as entrepreneurially minded and pragmatic—equally at home writing data pipelines as defining metrics that drive user growth.
