Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlex Dainiak is a Senior Data Scientist based in Yerevan with over a decade of experience blending academia and industry to turn discrete mathematics and machine learning research into practical systems. He has taught and led labs at MIPT and other institutions while building production ML and optimization solutions at companies from Yandex-affiliated programs to 10Web and EPAM. His background—PhD-level expertise in discrete mathematics plus a master's from Yandex School of Data Analysis—enables him to tackle hard algorithmic problems behind scheduling, optimization, and data-driven products. Equally comfortable lecturing and shipping production models, he often bridges R&D and engineering teams to deploy research-grade techniques in real-world services. An underappreciated strength is his sustained commitment to teaching since 2009, which sharpens his ability to explain complex ideas and mentor junior engineers.
