Top SchoolAlex Fomushkin is a Senior Lead Software Engineer based in Helsinki with 10 years of experience building cross-platform mobile and web applications, specializing in React Native and ReactJS. He has led teams from small squads to 20+ members and taken multiple agile projects end-to-end—planning, designing, publishing and maintaining apps across finance, healthcare, media and public sectors. Alex is pragmatic about product impact, having boosted app ratings, cut Android app size dramatically, and introduced Design Systems and dark themes to improve UX and maintainability. Comfortable in both hands-on development and leadership roles (including scrum-master and product-facing responsibilities), he’s delivered payment, geolocation, analytics and video/audio integrations for multi-market apps in the Nordics. As an independent contractor he blends consulting with deep technical ownership, and outside work he pursues casual sports, cooking and travel—often informing a user-focused, practical approach to engineering.
