Top SchoolAlex Gouws is an Intermediate Full-stack Web Developer based in Johannesburg with eight years of IT experience bridging hands-on support, systems administration, and modern web development. He transitioned from providing end-user, hardware and security-system support to building web applications using PHP, Laravel, JavaScript and Vue.js, and now contributes full-stack solutions at ERS Biometrics. Alex has a practical knack for turning operational problems into software—previously shipping an Android barcode-scanning app and a custom annual leave system used by 300+ employees—so he brings a user-focused, systems-minded approach to development. Comfortable across infrastructure and application layers, he excels at integrating legacy environments with contemporary web stacks. Always curious about new technologies, he combines reliable operational experience with a passion for crafting clean, maintainable code.
