Top SchoolAlex Hendren is a founder and distributed systems architect with 13 years of experience building industrial automation and IIoT solutions from concept to deployment. Based in Houston, he led Remuv Technologies to unbundle traditional DCS/PLC stacks—designing DDS-based federated architectures, edge analytics, and microsecond control execution while cutting costs by roughly 70% versus incumbents. He previously advanced rig automation at NOV, shipping core OS features, DDS wrappers, and third-party app integrations for drilling systems. Alex combines hands-on hardware/software integration with team building and client-facing technical leadership for Oil & Gas and industrial clients. He’s interested in converging machine control, data science, and edge intelligence to create interoperable, open-architecture industrial systems.
