Top SchoolAlex Hernández is a Barcelona-based Software Development Engineer with eight years of experience blending front-end engineering and visual design. He combines a Master's in Graphic Design and Visual Arts with full-stack training from Ironhack to build polished, user-focused interfaces using React, Angular and React Native while also contributing to backend work with Node/Express and MongoDB. Alex has taught web and design technologies at multiple schools and bootcamps, a background that sharpens his ability to communicate complex ideas and mentor teammates. He has shipped production sites and apps from scratch—ranging from Gatsby/DatoCMS marketing sites to cross-platform mobile apps—bringing both aesthetic rigor and practical engineering discipline. Comfortable moving between design tools (Adobe Suite, Sketch, Cinema 4D) and modern JS stacks, he often bridges product, design and engineering to accelerate delivery and user experience. An educator-turned-developer, he uniquely pairs pedagogy with hands-on shipping experience to make designs that are both beautiful and buildable.
