Top SchoolAlex Ilyenko is a senior software engineer with 12 years of experience specializing in developer productivity and large-scale test infrastructure, currently at Netflix after recent staff-level work at Snowflake. He designed Lyft’s acceptance test platform that saved over $2M annually, scaled to 60+ teams with 300+ daily runs, and single-handedly drove adoption and reliability improvements. His pragmatic focus on tools developers actually use includes distributed test execution, CI/CD quality gates that blocked 100+ faulty releases a year, and an iOS automation rescue that prevented 400+ production regressions. Comfortable building systems from startup scrappiness to enterprise reliability, he’s repeatedly been the first or sole SDET owner who turns brittle automation into durable platforms. Based in Warsaw, he pairs an MS in Electrical Engineering with cross-industry experience spanning streaming, cloud data platforms, finance, and media.
