Top SchoolAlex Jegtnes is a front-end focused full-stack web developer based in London with 13 years of industry experience and eight years freelancing through his company, Jegtnes Ltd. He specialises in building performant, accessible React and Next.js sites and web apps for clients ranging from startups and design studios to banks and major publishers. Alex has led accessibility programmes and translated audits into actionable roadmaps at organisations like EIU and The Economist, while also improving performance and design systems on large-scale rebuilds. His work balances practical engineering with UX needs—often tackling tricky internationalisation, complex checkout flows, and editorial workflows that require careful collaboration with content teams. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic, measurable improvements rather than flashy prototypes, and he brings a background in rapid prototyping and pattern libraries from agency work to every engagement.
